Three Philosophers & Brother Thelonious 7:24 PM
Last week my friend Dani and I went to Aubergine and had a couple of beers, here is what we had in the subsequent order:
Three Philosophers ( 9.80% Alcohol By Volume ) is a Belgian Style Blend what they call a Quadrupel, it is a very smooth tasting beer with a pleasant cherry tone, kick ass strong, incredibly drinkable, and given the high abv, downright "peligrosa".

Brother Thelonious ( 9.30% Alcohol By Volume )a Belgian Style Abbey Ale, Very sweet flavor prunes, dates and brown sugar and a little more bitter than three philosophers.
Overall both of them are great beers, easy to drink and sweet in flavor.
The order of the beer's was appropriate, you start the conversation with a friend, then with a half empty bottle, the bartender joins the philosophy session. If I could, I would ship a few across the Atlantic to my amigo Juan Pablo, he would enjoy them.

A quick stroll to the Saint Teresa of Avila Church a Roman Catholic church in Bodega, California. The white, wooden church with a steeple sits on a hilltop above the small, rural town of Bodega in Northern California. The church was built by shipbuilders in 1859 on land donated by Jasper O’Farrell and named after St. Teresa of Avila by local Spanish and Portuguese immigrants. Archbishop Alemany dedicated the church on June 2, 1861[1]. The church is still in use today and is the oldest church in continuous use in Sonoma county.
The original building was too small and was later expanded by cutting the church in half, pulling the two ends of the small church away from each other, and then building new walls and ceiling to fill in the newly created gap.
Also notable, the church interior has no center aisle, but rather two side aisles [2].
Ansel Adams made the church the subject of a black and white photograph in 1953. The church is located directly next to the Bodega schoolhouse, which was the setting for the schoolhouse scene in Alfred Hitchcock's film, The Birds. The church was also seen in the film and Hitchcock attended services in the church.

Today, I received a call at 10:51, it was my high school friend Julio. I have not spoken to him in the last 22 years or more. The first thing that came to my mind was and image of Julio, walking into school one morning with a shaved head, I remember him explaining and laughing about what had happened to him, gum was involved.
Julio sounds the same, funny but serious, speeds up a serious question and tackles it with a funny finish.
another thing, his daughter was born a couple of days separate from Camilo's birthday, just like Rafa and Richard, all same month, same year, days apart, we all went to school together, what a wonderful cosmic coincidence.
Thanks for the call brother, looking forward to catch up with stories of this awesome life.
